The DIA was founded in 1978 to represent the professional driving instructor, and since then has grown to be the largest association for professional driving instrutors. The main aims of the DIA are:–
• To encourage and promote the interests and welfare of those in professional driver training.
• To raise the standard of road user education.
• To create an increased awareness of road safety
