Drive At 16

Not 17 yet? How would you like to learn to drive at 16? You can, by enroling on the unique 'Drive 16' course, which is offered within the safety of the (TRL) Transport Research Laboratory's Private Road System.

The TRL layout consists of nearly 2 miles of road, complete with roundabout and traffic light system, pedestrian crossings, corners of varying degrees and gradients of up to 1 in 6

This is a 1/2 Day course run on Sundays 9:00 - 12:45. You will receive practical tuition on private land using the DSA syllabus in the safety of a qualified instructor in a dual controlled car and with insured included, specially for unlicensed drivers.

This course will gives you the confidence and a head start with the driving skills before you reach your 17th birthday. 

FREE local pickup/drop off. Pupils from other areas to meet at the TRL Security Office by 8:45. Directions and map can be found on the TRL website or open the google earth link.
